Before you start
- One spreadsheet in .xls, .xlsx, .ods or .csv format.
- A checked print area and page setup in the source file.
- A decision about which sheet or sheets need to appear in the PDF.
Step by step
- Upload a spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls, .ods or .csv).
- Press Start to export it.
- Download the PDF and confirm the page breaks.
Common mistakes
- Converting a wide sheet without adjusting orientation or fit-to-page settings.
- Forgetting that hidden rows, columns or sheets may not appear as expected in print.
After you download
Download the PDF and check column widths, page breaks and repeated table headers. If the layout is wrong, fix the print settings and convert again.
Questions and answers
Why is my sheet cut off?
A wide sheet needs landscape orientation and “fit to width” in the page setup. Set that in Excel or Calc before uploading.
Are hidden sheets exported?
Only visible sheets are printed, which is usually what you want when sharing.
Are formulas recalculated?
Values are taken as saved. Recalculate and save the workbook first if the numbers changed.
